Proactive disclosure regarding staff and recent demonstrations

Hello readers,

Since Oct. 16 of last year, the Griff has done its best to report on the student demonstrations on campus and will continue to do so when possible.

One of our editors is active in organizing student demonstrations outside of their work with the Griff. The editor in question does not and has not had any editorial input on these stories and does not and has not worked on them. 

The Griff is happy to support vibrant and full student lives while also adhering to our established set of ethics and standards.

The Griff acknowledges the potential for conflicts of interest and perceived conflicts of interest when covering these stories and takes appropriate steps to avoid any from occurring, or openly disclose any conflicts that occur or may be perceived to occur.
