The mosaic mural on the first floor of SAMU has been removed, but is set to return later this month. SAMU says the mosaic will be returned to its original location, next to the first-floor washrooms in the SAMU building, but slightly higher on the same wall.
In a statement to the Griff, SAMU said the mosaic’s original placement was low and susceptible to damage, and it was in the way of potential equipment or furniture that could be added to the space.
